Man arrested for OWI after fleeing deputies in La Crosse County

(WEAU)--A Holmen man is in custody for driving under the influence and obstructing an officer.
La Crosse County Sherriff’s department says the responded to a single rollover crash on County Highway XX and Briggs Road. Witnesses reported seeing a vehicle roll several times and that the driver was injured.
Deputies say when they arrived on scene the driver, 48 year old Matthew Spors, had climbed out of the vehicle and fled on foot.
Two people spotted Spors crossing the high way. He was taken in to custody without incident and transported to Gunderson Lutheran with non-life threatening injuries.
The is Spor’s 3rd OWI offense.
