Man arrested for several thefts

Rice Lake police say they want to remind people to secure their properties and report any suspicious activities to police.

RICE LAKE, Wis. (WEAU)-- A Barron man was arrested in connection to several thefts in the Rice Lake area.

The Rice Lake Police Department says around 4:30 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day, officers were notified of a suspect going through vehicles. About an hour later, police made contact with 28-year-old Christopher Kaseno.

After interviewing Kaseno, police say they discovered he had illegally entered several vehicles, garages, and a home. Kaseno then was taken to the Barron County jail.
