PITTSVILLE, Wis. (WEAU) A man is arrested after a standoff in Wood County.

The Sheriff's Department says just before 11pm Thursday, it got a call of shots fired inside a home in Pittsville.

The suspect, 26-year-old Randall Bakken, fled the scene before deputies got there.

They were eventually able to locate his vehicle and a chase started.

During the chase, deputies say Bakken got out at one point and put a rifle to his head, holding police in a standoff for more than an hour.

The suspect then got back in the vehicle and took off again, this time deputies were able to block off the area and after another standoff, Bakken eventually surrendered to deputies. No one was hurt.
