MARSHFIELD, Wis. (WEAU)-- A 19-year-old man is arrested after officers say he tried to start a building on fire in Marshfield.

Marshfield Police responded to an alarm at Avalon on Forth, just after 1 a.m. Tuesday. When officers got there, they saw the man trying to crawl out of the business through a window.

Police believe the man tried to start items in the business on fire. The fire department and police evacuated the two apartments above the business. No one was hurt.
