Man arrested in high speed chase is charged

CHIPPEWA COUNTY, Wis. (WEAU)-- The man accused of leading deputies on a high-speed chase through two counties before crashing with a squad car, is now charged.

28-year-old Jason Bremer of Ladysmith faces eight counts including attempting to flee an officer and 1st-degree recklessly endangering safety.

The Chippewa County Sheriff's Department says Bremer led investigators on a chase from the Sheldon area to State Highway 27 near Holcombe on March 13th.

The SUV Bremer was driving collided with a squad car and rolled.
Deputies arrested Bremer moments later.
