EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -- A man with a Department of Corrections warrant is now accused of running from police.

Officer arrested Thomas Conro, 38 Thursday night near South Hastings Way and Valmont Avenue in Eau Claire. Eau Claire police say Conro was driving and pulled into a parking lot. Officers found out he had a DOC warrant, and tried to catch up with him. That's when they say he ran from his vehicle. Officers eventually caught him. They say he resisted police, and that "pepper spray was deployed."

Conro was arrested for the warrant and for resisting an officer. As of Friday afternoon, criminal charges had not been filed in the case.
