Man charged after leading police on high speed chase

CHIPPWA FALLS, Wis. (WEAU)- The man accused of leading police on a high speed motorcycle chase in June is now facing several charges.

According to the criminal complaint, 33-year-old Joshua Worthington faces 5 charges, including reckless endangering safety and obstructing an officer.

Police officers in Chippewa Falls say the chase happened on June 3rd. They saw Worthington tipped over on the bike on an on-ramp to HWY 124.

When they stopped to check on him, he took off, leading them through the city's south side.

Eventually, Worthington crashed his bike and he was arrested.
