CHIPPEWA COUNTY, Wis. (WEAU) A Cornell man charged in the death of his friend made his initial appearance in court Tuesday.
A judge set a $10,000 signature bond for 22-year old Brady Wolfe.
In January, Wolfe was charged with homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle, with a controlled substance.
In August of 2013, investigators say Wolfe ran a red light on South Hastings Way and his car ran under a semi-trailer.
Wolfe was badly hurt, and his passenger, 19-year-old Caston Arnold was killed.
Chippewa County District Attorney Steve Gibbs says the charges were delayed while waiting for test results on blood samples, but says he doesn't think that will have an effect on the case.
Wolfe is due back in court April 1st.
