Man, child injured in crash

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) – A man and his three-year-old child ended up with minor injuries in a traffic crash Monday.

It happened Monday afternoon at the intersection of the North Crossing and McKinley Road in Eau Claire.

Eau Claire Police say the driver of a semi-style garbage truck was going east on the North Crossing, when the driver apparently noticed that something dropped from the truck. The truck rear-ended a car at the intersection.

Police say the driver of the truck was ticketed for inattentive driving.
