Man flown to hospital after semi vs. pedestrian crash on Highway 85

(WEAU) - A crash in Dunn County sends one man to the hospital and blocks off part of a highway.

The Dunn County Sheriff's Office says it happened a little before 6:30 Friday night on Highway 85 just southwest of Rock Falls. It says a man was walking alongside his bicycle eastbound, when a semi, also going eastbound, appears to have struck the man with its trailer.

It says the man did not have any lights on his bike and was not wearing reflective clothing.
The man was flown to a hospital in Rochester with non-life threatening injuries.

Highway 85 was partially blocked and traffic had to be re-routed after the crash.
