Man is thrown from motorcycle in Monroe Co. crash

TOMAH, Wis. (WEAU) A man is thrown from his motorcycle and taken to the hospital after a crash in Monroe County.

It happened at around 2:30 Monday afternoon at the intersection of State Highway 16 and County Road A in Sparta.

A car, driven by 51 year old Lisa Frazier of Tomah, was stopped at the stop sign. She waited for a semi to pass on Highway 16, before turning left.

Frazier did not see the motorcycle that was behind the semi, driven by Jimmylee Jerzyk, 27, of Tomah.

When she pulled out the motorcycle hit her car.

Jerzyk was thrown from his bike and had to be taken to the hospital.

His injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.
