CLEAR LAKE, Wis. (WEAU) -- An area school district is mourning the loss of a guidance counselor who died in an accident during the weekend.
On Saturday, Adam Moen was riding on a lawn mower with his son, when it rolled over on top of them. Moen was taken to a hospital, where he died. Clear Lake District Administrator Brad Ayer says Moen was the Jr/Sr. High School Counselor in the schools for six years. He was also Head Baseball Coach, and had several other responsibilities. Ayer said Tuesday was a very sad day in the district, and that extra counselors have been brought in to support staff and students.
The district says it also left poster boards outside of Moen's office for students to leave messages and memories, which will be given to his family.

The Barron County Sheriff's Department identified the victim as Adam Moen, 34, of Prairie Farm. It happened Saturday afternoon near Moen's home on 5th Avenue in Prairie Farm. Moen was flown to the hospital, where he later died. His son went to the hospital, and was later released.
