Man sentenced for videotaping women in shower

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU)-- A man charged with videotaping women showering on the UW-Eau Claire campus, was sentenced in Eau Claire County Court.

23-year-old Michael Somers pleaded guilty to three counts of invasion of privacy. Several other charges were dismissed but read in. Somers was sentenced to 24 months of probation and 95 days in jail, but 60 days will be waived if he abides by the terms of his probation.

The criminal complaint says Somers used his cell phone to take the videos in Murray Hall last year.
It says one of the women saw him and was able to identify him.
