Man sentenced in Ladysmith arson

LADYSMITH, Wis. (WEAU)-- A man convicted of causing a fire to a Ladysmith business was sentenced in Rusk County Court Thursday.

27-year-old Brett Cox will serve five years in prison and seven years of extended supervision. Cox pleaded no contest and was found guilty of arson back in October.

Police say he admitted to starting a fire in his apartment that spread to the Finish Line Bar in March of 2013.
