Man sentenced to 63 years in prison for deadly stabbing

SAWYER COUNTY, Wis. (WEAU)--A man charged in a deadly stabbing in Sawyer County has been sentenced 63 years in prison and 28 years extended supervision.

In February, Marvin Alex Corbine Junior was found guilty of all charges, including first-degree intentional homicide as party to a crime.

Police say in April of 2011, Corbine was involved in a fight at a home on the La Courte Oreilles Reservation.

23-year-old John B. McDaniel died from multiple stab wounds.
Two others were also stabbed and taken to the hospital.
