Man spends night outdoors after ATV crash in Wis.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- A Wisconsin man is OK after spending the night outside after crashing his all-terrain vehicle on his property.

The Dane County sheriff's office says friends discovered the 64-year-old Blue Mounds man about 12:15 p.m. Thursday -- 15 hours after the crash.

Deputies were called after the man spent the night next to a shed. Authorities say he suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was flown to UW Hospital.

The sheriff's office says the man was riding his ATV about 9 p.m. Wednesday when he went off an embankment and rolled into a pile of logs. He then crawled to the shed where he stayed the night with his dog.

Authorities say the man admitted drinking alcohol before the crash. Since the crash happened on his property, he won't be cited.
