Man uninjured after truck hits train

Police authority

(WEAU)-A 22 year-old Holmen man had luck on his side, after his truck hit a train and was dragged several feet.
Vernon County Sheriff's Department says the 22 year old was driving on state highway 35, when he lost control of his truck on icy roads. The truck went over an embankment and stuck a train that was stopped on the nearby railroad tracks. The driver was not injured.
Deputies say when they arrived on scene the train started moving, dragging the truck 4/10 of a mile. WIS 35 had to be shut down for about an hour while crews removed the vehicle.The incident remains is under investigation
