Man wanted in Adams County arrested in Connecticut

ADAMS COUNTY, Wis. (WEAU)-- Investigators in Adams County say they've found a man wanted in connection with the disappearance of a teen from the Town of Springfield.

The sheriffs office says 20-year-old Tyler Hand was taken into custody in Connecticut on charges of second-degree sexual assault of a child, use of a computer to facilitate a child sex crime, disorderly conduct and battery.

Hand is from the Connecticut area. Police believe he traveled there with 16-year-old Evelyne Fischer on a greyhound bus in mid-June.

No other information was released Wednesday.
