Man arrested for choking woman

(WEAU) - Police in Rice Lake have arrested a 28-year-old man accused of choking a woman.

It happened just before 6 p.m. Wednesday night. Officers say when they arrived, the woman said nothing happened but neighbors told them the man choked her.

Officers say the unidentified man was arrested for several charges including strangulation, and disorderly conduct-domestic abuse.
