UPDATE: Name released in Tomah fatal crash

(WEAU) - We now know the name of the man that was killed in a crash in Tomah over the weekend.

The Tomah Police Department has identified him as Daniel Davis, 62. The crash happened just after 4 a.m. Saturday in Tomah.

Officers say Davis had an unknown medical issue and crashed into the front of the Greenwood Cafe. He was taken to the hospital where he died.


Tomah, Wis (WEAU) -- A man has died after a crash in Tomah.

Tomah police say it happened just after 4 a.m. Saturday on the 900th block of Superior Avenue.

Officers say the car crashed into the front of the Greenwood Cafe.

When they arrived, they found the driver unresponsive and transported him to a local hospital where efforts to revive him were unsuccessful.

Officers say the man suffered an unknown medical issue. His name has not been released.
