Mayo Clinic Health System releases list of most popular baby names

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -- Mayo Clinic Health System-Eau Claire has released a list of its most popular baby names in 2013.

On Monday, the health care provider released the list. Eight boys named Brayden, Ethan, and Jackson, and nine girls named Madelyn were born at Mayo Clinic Health System-Eau Claire during the year. The spellings may have varied. There were more than 1,000 babies born at the hospital in 2013. 520 were girls and 486 were boys. There were also 13 sets of twins.

Of the 310 babies born at the Menomonie location, the most popular boy names were Carter, Easton, and Liam (there were four each). For girls, it was Adalynn, Ava, Madelyn, Molly, and Zoey (there were three each). In Barron, where 101 babies were born, the most popular boy and girl names were Jaxson and Ava.
