EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -- Some Eau Claire elementary students spent the night learning about libraries and the importance of reading.
It was a part of Meadowview Elementary School's literacy night, which they called "I-Spy a Good Reader."
The school had exploring stations including I-Spy activities and E-book resource demonstrations.
"We're really pushing literacy and the importance on to families. It's most important, early literacy because if the students don't have those skills by the 3rd grade, it's really hard to catch them up. So we wanted to get activities to all the families that could be here,” said library media specialist Ashley Kohls.
