Meeting updates progress on Confluence Project

(WEAU) - A meeting was held Monday to update the community on the progress of the downtown Confluence Project.

The Eau Claire County Committee on Administration says more than $2 million has been raised so far for the project. That includes the $1 million from RCU and $9,400 raised from Justin Vernon's guitar auction.

Also the Eau Claire Regional Arts Center said it believes the project will be able to attract around 186,000 patrons in its first year, along with being able to generate more than $4.5 million.
