Mega Foods bosses take pies to the face for the United Way

(WEAU) - The bosses at Mega Foods spent a portion of National Boss Day being pied in the face, all for a good cause.

Mega's ceo, Mike Buck, and other department leaders offered their faces as a way to raise money for the United Way. For just $3 people could launch a pie at one of the bosses.

Mega Foods has another fundraiser planned for this weekend. Organizer of Tuesday’s event Austin Volger told us "on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Mega Foods East, we have a United Way Carnival. It's a "Spook-tacular" event with a bunch of different activities for children and families to come and check it out."

All of the funds raised this Saturday from the Halloween-themed carnival will also go towards their United Way fundraising campaign.
