EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -- Here are some Memorial Day events happening in the community on Monday, May 26:

Eau Claire:

Memorial Day Parade at 9:30 a.m.
Parade goes from Wilson Park to Owen Park
Program follows the Parade at Owen Park

Chippewa Falls:

Memorial Day Parade Downtown Chippewa Falls at approximately 10:15 a.m.
Starts at Willow and Bridge Street
Irvine Park program starts at approx. 11:15am.


Inaugural Potter's Field Memorial Day Event at 2:30 p.m.

Six American Veterans will be honored at a Memorial Day service at the Dunn County Potter's Field Cemetery in Menomonie. It is the first known instance of an Honor Guard paying tribute to the veterans buried there.
