Men charged in Eau Claire burglary are found guilty

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU)--A guilty verdict was handed down for three men charged in a burglary in Eau Claire.

Eau Claire Police say Mohamed Mohamed, Mohamed Samatar and Olad Omar broke into the Macman store on Keystone Crossing in September of 2012. Officers say they stole 14 iPads and three laptops.
They tracked the men down using DNA evidence from a piece of chewing gum left at the scene.

On Tuesday, Samatar pleaded guilty. A jury convicted Mohamed and Omar Wednesday. All three are scheduled to be sentenced in August.
