Mid America Chamber Executives honor McCoy

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (EAU CLAIRE AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE NEWS RELEASE) -- Eau Claire Chamber President and CEO, Bob McCoy, CCE, was named Chamber Executive of the Year by the Mid America Chamber Executives (MACE) organization. MACE is a six state group of Chamber professionals (Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin). There are over six hundred Chambers in the six states.

McCoy was recognized for his dedicated thirty four years leading four Chambers in Rock Rapids, IA, Fairmont and Albert Lea, MN and Eau Claire, where he has been for the past 20 years. He serves on the US Chamber's Committee of 100, a group of 100 key Executives from across the country. He has served as Chairman of the Board of Regents for the US Chamber's Institute for Organization Management, President of the Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce Executives and the Board of the American Chamber of Commerce Executives.

McCoy is also only one of 500 Certified Chamber Executives (CCE) in the United States. There are nearly 7,000 Chambers in the US. The Eau Claire Chamber is one of just over 80 Five Star Accredited Chambers in the US, as designated by the US Chamber in Washington, DC and one of only two on Wisconsin, with Oshkosh being the other one.
