Mitt Romney's son makes campaign stop in Altoona

ALTOONA, Wis. (WEAU) -- As Romney prepares for next week's debate, his son traveled to western Wisconsin on Saturday .

Josh Romney was greeted by dozens of supporters at the Eau Claire county republican headquarters in Altoona Saturday afternoon.

He said if his dad would fix the economy and create jobs if elected.

He said Mitt Romney has already planned his first one-hundred days in office, where he would work to solve the country's debt crisis.

"I assure you that if my dad's elected president on November 6, then starting November 7 this economy is going to start to turn around. People are going to recognize what he will do as president. This economy will come back in a big way,” said Josh Romney.

Josh Romney also spoke in Hudson Saturday morning.

He’ll campaign in Denver next week.
