More prison time for man who tried to escape

(WEAU) - One of the 3 men who prosecutors say tried to escape from the Stanley Prison will serve another year and a half behind bars.

The sentence was added on to a previous one Henry Spencer, 28, was already serving for an unrelated conviction in Milwaukee County. Spencer pleaded no contest to conspiracy to commit escape.

Three other charges were dismissed.

Spencer, Jimmy Baldwin, and Eddie Evans are accused of changing their release dates on court documents in 2010 to leave prison early. Spencer never got out. Evans and Baldwin did.

They're scheduled to go to trial in March.
