EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -- The City of Eau Claire is closing many of its outdoor skating rinks and warming houses for the season.
On Monday, the city announced that the Pinehurst Shelter would be the only facility to remain open. The hill can be used for sledding, as long as the weather cooperates. Because of relatively warm temperatures and sunny days, the rinks are becoming unstable.
The city suggests visiting Hobbs Ice Center online if you're looking for indoor skating information.
