Motorcycle crash sends woman to hospital

LADYSMITH, Wis. (WEAU)-- One person was flown to the hospital after two motorcycles crashed near Ladysmith.

It happened just after four Sunday afternoon on Highway 40 at County Highway A, northwest of Ladysmith.

The Wisconsin State Patrol says 72-year-old Floyd Reed and 76-year-old Reba Reed were traveling south on Highway 40 when Floyd slowed down to make a turn. Reba was not able to slow down in time and crashed into the back of Floyd's motorcycle.

Reba was thrown from the bike and had to be flown to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Floyd was also treated at the scene for non-life threatening injuries.
