Motorcyclist crashes into deer in Hillsboro

Hillsboro, Wisconsin -- A motorcyclist is hurt after crashing into a deer Tuesday night.

Vernon County Sheriff John Spears says the accident happened around 8:05 p.m. on Briskey Road, a quarter mile north of State Highway 33 in the Town of Hillsboro.

A motorcycle driven by 24 year-old Joshua R. Quario of Hillsboro was northbound on Briskey Rd, when he hit a deer. Quario’s motorcycle skidded on the roadway causing non-life threatening injuries. Joshua Quario was transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Hillsboro.

The driver of the motorcycle was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident but was wearing safety glasses.

The accident remains under investigation by the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office.
