NEIGHBORHOOD CRIME ALERT: Police looking for flasher in Eau Claire

By  |

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) – Investigators are searching for a flasher, before he strikes again. It happened at least twice this week in the northern part of Eau Claire.

Eau Claire police officers say the man exposed himself to high school boys near North High School along a bike trail.

Officers say as of Thursday, they have two reported incidents that happened on Monday and Tuesday but they are looking into other incidents that could be connected.

The man they are looking for is described as about 6’1”, medium build, has fuzzy type hair and was wearing silver glasses.

Police say there's no indication that the man has been violent and that after the incident he then walked away before police arrived.

Police say some advice for parents and students are to be aware of your surroundings and if possible, walk in groups.

If this type of thing does happen, it's important to be a good witness and get a good description of the person and how they got away.

Police also say it's important to call them immediately if you see the man.
