CHIPPEWA FALLS, Wis. (WEAU) -- Bond is set for a man accused of leading officers on a high-speed chase before colliding with a squad car and crashing.

On Monday, a judge set bond at $15,000 cash for Jason Bremer, 28, of Ladysmith. Bremer appeared by video conference in Chippewa County court Monday morning. The Chippewa County Sheriff's Department says Bremer led investigators on a chase from the Sheldon area to State Highway 27 near Holcombe Thursday. The SUV ended up colliding with a squad car, then rolling. Deputies arrested Bremer afterwards.

As of late Monday morning, no criminal charges were filed in the case.
