NEW INFORMATION: Cause of chicken fire undetermined

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -- Investigators say the cause of a fire that killed about 50 chickens in Eau Claire County last month will be listed as undetermined.

Township Fire says the investigation is over, but crews were not able to determine the exact cause. They say foul play is not suspected.

The fire started around 4:30 a.m. November 27th on 4012 West Cameron Street in the Town of Union.

Township fire says the building, owned by Vang Lee, was once an old farmhouse that had been converted into a chicken coop. The fire destroyed the building.
