EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -- The City of Eau Claire is looking for sponsors to help its delegates get to an award ceremony.
Earlier this month, the the National Civic League announced the finalists for the 2014 All-American City awards. It's a list of the top 25 healthy communities in the country. Eau Claire made it. Now the city is asking for donations that would go toward airfare and other transportation to the ceremony in Denver, lodging, and other expenses. The goal is to send 11 delegates to the ceremony on June 15. The city says each delegate sponsorship will cost about $1,800.
