NEW INFORMATION: Cornell chooses to create co-op football team with Lake Holcombe

(WEAU) - We have new information on a story we've been following since early this fall.

The Cornell School Board has unanimously decided to co-op their high school football team with Lake Holcombe's team. The decision comes as Cadott was also looking to co-op their football team with Cornell.

The Cornell superintendent says the board decided since the school already had other co-ops with Lake Holcombe, it made sense for the football programs to follow suit.

The schools now have until February 1st to put in their formal request to the WIAA.
