NEW INFORMATION: Dresbach Bridge guardrail repairs postponed

By  |

ROCHESTER, Minn. (MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION NEWS RELEASE) – Plans to repair the median guardrail on Dresbach Bridge on Interstate 90 are being postponed because of weather conditions, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

Ames Construction, the contractor, is planning to reschedule the minor repairs possibly next week. The work will repair damage caused by a traffic crash on the bridge earlier this month.

Updates will be issued when a new repair date is selected. The repair work is expected to close the left lanes in both directions on the bridge over the Mississippi River while workers are making repairs.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation urges motorists to always drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.
