NEW INFORMATION: Neillsville boil water advisory lifted

By  |

NEILLSVILLE, Wis. (WEAU) -- The boil water advisory for the City of Neillsville is over.

On Wednesday, the city announced on its website that the order had been lifted. It says people in the city can return to using their water as usual.

A water main break last week forced schools in the community to close, and left some people without water Thursday night. Crews fixed the problem on Saturday. The city had a boil water advisory in effect until tests showed that the water was clean.
