NEW INFORMATION: People in Thorp asked to stop running water continuously

THORP, Wis. (CITY OF THORP NEWS RELEASE) -- Effective immediately, residents of the City of Thorp can discontinue running a pencil lead sized stream of water to prevent frozen water services. Water meters will be read the week of April 14th and bills distributed by ~April 25th. Bills will be for the full amount of water consumed during the quarter. However, a voucher will be included in the bill with which residents can claim their credit of 250 gallons for each week they ran the water.
