CHIPPEWA FALLS, Wis. (WEAU) -- Police now suspect a man charged in one sexual assault case of sexually assaulting a second teenager.

Nickolas Raether, 22, of Chippewa Falls is in the Chippewa County Jail. Earlier this month, a judge set his bond at $5,000 cash. Chippewa Falls Police say a 15-year-old girl reported that Raether used conversations on Facebook to convince her to come to his house after school in late January. The teenager says he brought her into his room, held her down by her throat, and had sex with her. Officers say they're following up on leads from other teenager girls. They expect to recommend more charges as they continue investigating.

A criminal complaint accuses Raether of sexually assaulting a 16-year-old girl he knew through Facebook last week. Investigators say Raether brought the girl and her friend to his home, spiked their drinks, and sexually assaulted the girl. Police believe Raether started conversations with dozens of girls online, mainly from Eau Claire and Chippewa counties, but possibly as far away as Madison and La Crosse. A pre-trial conference in the alleged assault from this month is scheduled for next week.
