NEW INFORMATION: Re-opening of I-94/State Hwy. 37 ramps delayed

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -- A series of freeway exit and entrance ramps at Interstate 94 and State Highway 37 will not be re-opening Friday, as scheduled.

An email from a Department of Transportation spokeswoman sent Monday says weather is a factor. She says Monday's rain also forced crews to stop working on rebuilding the ramps. The goal is now to have the ramps open again within the next couple of weeks.

The email also says that the department is working toward having all four lanes of traffic on I-94 open in that area as soon as Friday.
