NEW INFORMATION: Victims in deadly Town of Arcadia crash identified

WHITEHALL, Wis. (WEAU) -- Investigators have identified the victims of a crash that killed three people near Arcadia Monday.

The Trempealeau County Sheriff's Office released the names on Tuesday. The driver of the sport utility vehicle in the crash, Patrice Hamerski, 57, of Trempealeau, was among the three who died. Donald Lewallen, 34, of Augusta was the driver of the minivan, and Austin Lemon, 14, of Augusta was one of his passengers. Both were killed. Two other passengers in the minivan, Timothy Kroening, 34, of Owen, and Curtis Lovelien, 23, of Fairchild were hurt in the crash. Lovelien was flown to a La Crosse hospital with life-threatening injuries. Kroening's injuries were described as non-life-threatening.

The crash happened east of Sorlie Lane, which is between Blair and Arcadia. Trempealeau County Sheriff Richard Anderson said the SUV was heading east and the minivan was going west. They hit head on in the westbound lane. The minivan caught fire. There's no word on what caused the crash.
