NEW INFORMATION: Wis. Rapids man suspected in brother's death

WISCONSIN RAPIDS, Wis. (WISCONSIN RAPIDS POLICE DEPARTMENT NEWS RELEASE) -- Ronald S. Horan (55) of 1110½ Baker Drive, Wisconsin Rapids remains in custody on a probation hold as this investigation proceeds. Horan is the suspect in the death of his brother Tracy L. Horan (52) who resided at 1150 16th Street North in Wisconsin Rapids.

A Forensic Autopsy conducted late Friday, August 8 revealed Tracy Horan died of a neck and head injury. The altercation between Ronald and Tracy Horan was a physical altercation with no use of any weapons.

Ronald Horan attempted to bury/hide his brothers body on the property at 1110½ Baker before calling 911 at approximately 11 PM to report his brother's death.

Details of the investigation will be presented to the Wood County District Attorney pending formal criminal charges on Ronald S. Horan.
