Names, photos released in Chippewa Co. crash

CHIPPEWA COUNTY, Wis. (WEAU) Chippewa County Sheriff's Deputies release new information on a crash that happened Saturday afternoon.

The incident report says 68 year old William Beskar of Menomonie didn't yield at the intersection of County Highway O and 210th Street in the Town of Anson. He was driving a white GMC pickup truck.

Beskar reportedly told deputies he stopped at the stop sign, but did not see any oncoming traffic, and kept going.

The report says Beskar struck a Blue Ford pickup truck, driven by 33 year old Shaun Kruckeberg of Cadott. Kruckeberg's vehicle rolled several times. He and his two passengers, 13 year old Tanner Kruckeberg, and Melinda Murkley- Kruckeberg, 42, were all thrown from the vehicle.

Deputies says all three were taken to the hospital to be treated for their injuries. The woman sustained serious injuries.

The report says Beskar sustained possible injuries.

CHIPPEWA CO. Wis. (WEAU)- Two people are hurt after a two car crash Saturday afternoon in Chippewa County.

The Chippewa County Sheriff's Department says the crash happened just after 2 PM Saturday at the intersection of County Highway O and 210th Street in the Town of Anson.

Deputies say a truck didn’t yield at an intersection and was hit by another pickup truck.

A man, woman and a child in that pickup were thrown from the vehicle.

Deputies say both the man and the woman were taken to the hospital. The driver of the other truck was not hurt.

Deputies say the crash is still under investigation.
