New Kwik Trip announced for River Prairie development

(WEAU) - Altoona announced its newest retail addition to the River Prairie development.

The city says a new Kwik Trip will locate just north of River Prairie Drive. It's the first development west of Highway 53. It could be done by this fall or spring of 2014. Thursday night the city council approved selling the company about 2 and a half acres.

It says it will bring in 30 new jobs and $80,000 in tax revenue a year.
