New UW-Stout Chancellor makes first major address

MENOMONIE, WI -- (WEAU) - In the day ahead, Bob Meyer, the 7th Chancellor in the history of UW-Stout, will make his first major address on campus.

Meyer plans to speak to faculty and staff this morning starting at 8:15 A.M. in the great hall of the Memorial Student Center.

Meyer's address will be part of the 2014 engagement sessions, in which staff members review and comment on potential initiatives to be included in the university's strategic plan.

Meyer is expected to lay out his vision for the university and the priorities he will emphasize as the new chancellor.
