New snowfall creates dangerous driving conditions

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -- Friday's snowfall in western Wisconsin is making driving conditions challenging.

The Wisconsin State Patrol says it's responding to several slide-ins and crashes along I-94. It says secondary roads "have become even more treacherous" as new snow covers the ice cover that remains on some stretches.

Troopers are urging drivers to cut back on travel, be aware of changing conditions, slow down, and buckle up.
