TOWNSHIP OF PIGEON, Wis. (WEAU) -- Several people have been released from the hospital after a vehicle hit an Amish buggy in Trempealeau County.
Deputies say the seven children who were hurt and their mother Lydia Wengerd have been released from the hospital.
Their father David Wengerd is still in for surgery on his lower leg.
The crash happened Friday night on Highway 53 in the Township of Pigeon.
Deputies say 19-year-old Brady Engen of strum didn't slow down and rear ended the buggy.
Engen wasn't hurt.
TOWNSHIP OF PIGEON, Wis (WEAU)--Nine people are hurt, including seven, after a vehicle hit an Amish buggy in Trempealeau County.
Deputies say the crash happened around 10:00pm Friday night on highway 53 near Dissmore Coulee Lane in the Township of Pigeon.
Deputies say the driver, 19-year-old Bradey Engen, didn't slow down and rear-ended the buggy.
Two adults and seven children in the buggy were hurt some of them were thrown from the vehicle. Deputies say they were all taken to the hospital and their conditions are unknown tonight. Engen was not hurt. Deputies say inattentive driving is a factor in the crash.
