No Serious Injuries Reported in Spencer Train Accident

SPENCER, Wis. (WSAW) - No one was seriously injured Friday morning after a train struck a car in the Village of Spencer.

An officer from the Marathon County Sheriff's Department says just before 4 am a driver attempted to turn around on the train tracks at E. Williow Drive and S. Pacific Street but his vehicle became stuck on the tracks.

The driver, a 27-year-old Illinois man was able to exit his car before the train stuck the car.

The scene has now been cleared.
